Three people are said to have been detained by police from various locations in Karachi, just hours after the event involving the firing at the Guru Mandir, according to an News report on Thursday.
The police official stated that all three of the detained suspects were purportedly in communication with the perpetrators and that they were close accomplices of the people directly involved in the firing incident.
In the meantime, the police officers used the people’s cell phone records and geofencing to start the inquiry.
It is important to note that on Thursday morning, unknown gunmen opened fire on the brothers’ car near the Guru Mandir district of Karachi, resulting in the deaths of at least two of them and the injuries of two more.
In addition, new information has shown that the crime was the result of personal animosity and that the perpetrators are close relatives of the dead.
Four suspects fired several shots at the car during the incident, according to the police. “Two of the victims sustained critical injuries and subsequently passed away, while the other two injured have been transported to a hospital,” the spokesperson stated.
She also stated that 18 shell casings had been found at the scene of the crime, and that a 9mm pistol had been used in the fire.
