Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin has strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party for their recent political demonstration on the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal, also known as Kashmir Exploitation Day.
Calls for action against the Indian government’s suspension of Article 370 in the disputed area of Kashmir characterized the rally, which was organized by Kashmiri leadership.
In a video message released on August 5, Yasin, the president of the People’s Party Azad Kashmir, and Azad Kashmir’s prime minister, Sardar Atique Ahmed Khan, criticized the PTI’s position.
On both sides of the Line of Control and throughout the world, Kashmiris mark this day as a black day of protest against what they see as illegal Indian acts.Yasin’s statement emphasizes how the PTI’s action is a “highly condemnable” attempt to subvert national agenda and state interests. He charged that PTI constantly acted against the interests of the state.
