The allegations about the closure of ATMs were refuted by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The central bank said in a statement on Monday, “Do not share personal information and do not click on suspicious online links.”
“Immediately following their use of an online banking session, users log out. Regularly reviewing account statements is advised for bank users, according to SBP.
The reports about the closure of ATMs have been refuted by the State Bank of Pakistan. A central bank representative urged consumers not to believe stories they hear on social media and declared that there is no disruption to online banking.
Consumers are able to access internet banking and ATMs as usual.
