Bengali media reports state that leaders of the student movement and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) have warned India’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) not to meddle in Bangladesh’s internal affairs. This occurs in the midst of intensifying political unrest in Bangladesh following the fall of Sheikh Hasina Wajid’s administration.
According to BNP officials, India seems agitated and might be trying to undermine Bangladesh’s security. They said that the BJP was deeply interfering in Bangladeshi politics, raising alarm throughout the area.
Since Bangladesh’s government changed, the situation has reportedly gotten worse, and the Modi administration in India is reportedly worried about Sheikh Hasina Wajid’s departure because some saw her as being in line with Indian objectives.
