One police officer was killed and another was injured in a police encounter on the Karachi Super Highway as a result of robbers’ firing.
A report on the incident has been requested by the Minister of Interior, Sindh.
Information concerning the presence of robbers near the Mahammadi Goth stream was received by police personnel on patrol in the Super Highway’s Site region. The robbers started shooting when they noticed the police.
Adil Patafi and Chaman Abbas, two officers, were hurt during the gunshot exchange. After being transported to a private hospital, Constable Chaman Abbas, one of the injured officers, passed away.
The criminals ran toward the stream, and the dead cop was not wearing a bulletproof vest at the time of the incident.
