In order to pursue other prospects, Imran Maniar has resigned from his position as managing director and chief executive officer of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC).
The news was released on Tuesday in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The statement claims that on September 2, the SSGC board of directors held an emergency meeting to address Maniar’s departure.
The statement said, “The board respectfully accepted Maniar’s decision to pursue other opportunities.” The date of Maniar’s departure from the company is September 13, 2024.
Maniar has over thirty years of experience managing and consulting private equity firms and corporations in sectors like mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, capital market transactions, logistics, and oil and gas. This is according to information on SSGC’s website.
