Another case of the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus was reported in Quetta on Saturday, adding to the ongoing threat of Congo fever in the nation.
Details indicate that the 28-year-old lady had contracted Congo fever. The Fatima Jinnah Chest Hospital was the patient’s treating facility.
According to the district hospital, the test report verified that the woman, who is from Hazara Town, had Congo fever.
The patient was reportedly admitted to the hospital’s isolation ward.
A total of 34 instances were reported. nine of them passed away from Congo fever.
A few days ago, the Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) was reported in two further patients by Quetta.
