The names of Rasakh and Zara Elahi, as well as the former chief minister of Punjab, Pervez Elahi, were taken off the passport control list (PCL) by the Interior Ministry department.
The Lahore High Court was notified and the report was turned in by the public prosecutor to the authorities. On behalf of Pervaizalhi and others, Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza heard petitions.
In consideration of the public advocate’s report, the court decided how to handle the petitions.
The petition states that “the name is not being removed from the passport and ECL list despite the court orders.”
The cops were ordered to be in contempt of court by the court.
