KARACHI: The big press conference for the next “World Culture Festival Karachi” was organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi. It was revealed that the event will take place at Haseena Moin Hall starting on September 26.
Prominent individuals included comedian and eminent thinker Anwar Maqsood, Muhammad Ahmed Shah, President of the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Minister of Culture in Sindh, and Ejaz Farooqi, Secretary of the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi.
There were also foreign cultural groups from Kosovo and Nepal. According to Shah, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah would preside over the launch ceremony of the “World Culture Festival Karachi” on September 26.
The Arts Council will host the 35-day festival through October 30. Shah also mentioned that several international groups will hold workshops for students from other universities and Karachi University.
