Cricket players from Pakistan have started making lighthearted references to “fantastic tea” in an attempt to make fun of Indians.
Details state that at a team meeting, leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed served tea to his teammates. Those in attendance who joined in the banter were Mohammad Amir, Fakhar Zaman, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Babar Azam.
In a separate statement, former Pakistani cricket captain Shahid Afridi made a strong plea for peace, breaking his quiet. Afridi emphasized in a statement that sports should not be used to inflame strife because they cut over national boundaries, religious beliefs, and political ideologies.
