A Facebook user posted a notice on October 7 that purportedly came from the Balochistani government’s Services and General Administration Department and was dated October 1.
According to the announcement, the chief minister of Balochistan has given the ISI’s directorate general permission to act as a Special Vetting Agency (SVA) and authorize it to check and screen the following:
clearance for verification and security for promotions to positions BPS-19 and higher.
screening new candidates for BPS-17 positions.
Prior to designating administrative secretaries, divisional commissioners, and deputy commissioners in the province, the SVA must give its consent.
