The US Congress has written to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, according to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), requesting an official report on PTI founder Imran Khan’s detention. Khan is presently being imprisoned at Adiala Jail.
Congressman Jack Bergman and Tom Suozzi, the chairman of the Pakistan caucus, wrote the letter, according to the official PTI USA account on the social networking site X.
An image of the letter was posted along with the post, asking Blinken to furnish written details about Khan’s imprisonment, PTI supporters’ rallies, and different accounts of Khan’s purported “solitary confinement.”
