The district government has effectively shut down a bogus urea business that was mixing stone and gypsum with urea in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The plant on Dallazak Road was the target of a coordinated operation headed by the Assistant Commissioner (City) and representatives from the Agriculture Department, according to Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Saleem Akram.
Officials discovered fake urea marketed under the names of respectable businesses during the raid. All goods have been seized, and the plant has been sealed.
The Deputy Commissioner has stated that the owner, who holds a license from the Agriculture Department, will be subject to legal ramifications.
