E! News reports that the actress stated, “It felt like the right thing for me to reclaim my own life, and I just really didn’t care about anything else,” while attending Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit.
“I made the decision to take care of myself and create the life I truly desired, and nothing—not even someone else’s perspective, success, offer, or anything else—could make me change my mind. It truly boils down to what you are enthusiastic about, in my opinion. Building a family was my goal.
Diaz and Jamie Foxx made their acting comebacks for Netflix’s “Back in Action.” Foxx’s health concern in 2023 caused the movie to be postponed, and it is now scheduled for release in January 2025.
After starring in “Annie” and “Any Given Sunday,” she acknowledged that she “couldn’t say no” to Foxx for what would turn out to be their third production together.
