Chief of the JUI-F, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has stated that his party will be allowed to vote in favor of the 26th constitutional amendment after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) responds to his request for a vote on whether or not to support the judicial package in parliament.
Speaking to the media late at night beside PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the seasoned politician stated that the previous ruling party requested an additional day to deliberate over the proposed constitutional reform.
After the government decided to eliminate all the provisions that the JUI-F found unacceptable, Fazl stated that his party came to an agreement on the constitutional package and that there are currently no significant differences between his party and the ruling coalition.
