A 16-man team has been released by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for the forthcoming Twenty20 International series against Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Following Najmul Hossain Shanto’s resignation earlier this year, seasoned wicketkeeper batsman Litton Das has been officially chosen the T20I captain and will captain Bangladesh for the forthcoming visits.
On the travels to Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, Das’s deputy will be off-spinner Mahedi Hasan.
Due to Shanto’s injury, Das also played for Bangladesh in a three-match Twenty20 International against the West Indies in December of last year.
