NOTTINGHAM: Mohammad Abbas, a seasoned Pakistani fast bowler, has been signed by Nottinghamshire CCC for this year’s county championship. According to head coach Peter Moores, Abbas “brings consistency, control, and a deep love for the game.”
Peter Moores praised Abbas’s ability to bowl economical stints, swinging the balls fairly far on all kinds of wickets, in an interview with Geo News at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
Muhammad Abbas is an excellent new-ball bowler who gives you control of the game and generates a lot of pressure. He is very familiar with that position, and I am eager to get him started.
