Canada has criticized a temporary Gaza visa program that was introduced earlier this year as a failure and will take decisive measures to get their loved ones out of the Gaza Strip despite Israel’s relentless assault.
On Tuesday, Omar Omar, a spokesperson for the advocacy organization Gazan Families, stated that he had been attempting for months to get his family members out of Gaza.
He added at a news conference in Ottawa, “I’ve been pleading for more than a year that my family, who are stuck in Gaza and constantly in danger of dying, be treated with the same urgency, the same humanity, that Canada extended to others.”
“Our resources and all we own have been depleted by this protracted battle and this draining campaigning. We’ve lost.
