Following “violence” during its three-day demonstration that ended suddenly in the early hours of Wednesday, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has chosen to present a motion in the Balochistan Assembly calling for the PTI to be banned.
Saleem Khosa, the leader of the PML-N parliamentary group, would introduce the resolution today criticizing the previous ruling party for becoming a “political anarchist” organization.
In reference to the violent protest that erupted last year after PTI founder Imran Khan’s arrest and saw attacks on public properties, including military institutions, Khosa said in the resolution, a copy of which is available with Geo News, that the PTI, which has been at odds with the current government, was to blame for the May 9 events.
