Sir David Beckham has reached billionaire status, becoming the first sports star in the United Kingdom to cross this milestone. Estimates place the combined wealth of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham at around £1.2bn. Their fortune has nearly doubled over the past year, driven by brand deals, business ventures, and investments.
Meanwhile, the Gallagher brothers from the band Oasis have entered the annual Sunday Times Rich List for the first time, with an estimated combined wealth of £375m.
Top of the Rich List
The Hinduja family remains at the top for the fifth year in a row. Sanjay and Dheeraj Hinduja and their family hold an estimated £38bn fortune, supported by global businesses in energy, banking, and transport.
The Reuben family follows in second place with £27.9bn, while Sir Leonard Blavatnik ranks third with £26.8bn. Idan Ofer takes fourth place with £24.4bn.
Biggest Names in the Top Ten
Other major figures in the top tier include Guy, George, Alannah and Galen Weston and family with £18.9bn. Christopher Harborne holds £18.1bn.
Tech entrepreneur Nik Storonsky stands at £16.4bn, while trading figure Alex Gerko holds £16bn. Sir Jim Ratcliffe appears at number nine with £15.1bn. Igor and Dmitry Bukhman complete the top ten with £14.2bn.
Major Movers in Wealth
The latest list shows 157 billionaires living in the United Kingdom, which is 20 fewer than four years ago.
King Charles has increased his estimated wealth to £680m, placing him at rank 230. He now sits above former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty, who are valued at £563m.
Sir James Dyson saw a major drop in wealth to £12bn, down £8.8bn from the previous year. Sir Jim Ratcliffe also saw a decline from £17bn to £15.1bn.
Organisers of the Glastonbury Festival, Emily Eavis and her family, enter the list with an estimated £400m fortune.
