Liverpool’s First Season is a Success
Ekitike, who joined Liverpool last summer from Eintracht Frankfurt, made a quick impact.
In all competitions, he scored 17 goals with six assists. Even though the team was struggling, his performances were outstanding.
He set a record in January. In January, he became the only Liverpool player to have scored in five competitions within a single season.
Focus on recovery
Ekitike’s France debut was in September, and he looked to be on track for the World Cup. His focus now shifts from recovery to rehabilitation. It is his goal to be fully ready for the next season.
