The 2024 Global Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) report for December showed that the Pakistan Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) increased by +0.8 points, hitting its highest level in three years.
In the face of improved economic indicators and popular optimism, this gain represents a steady comeback in consumer morale.
According to the report, the proportion of people who believe the economy is “strong” increased from 4% at the beginning of the year to 16%. As the economy becomes more stable, worries about inflation have also decreased to their lowest level in three years.
A 3% increase in job security confidence suggests that employment prospects are looking up. Consistent rise was also observed in savings confidence, with 15% of respondents expressing hope for their future financial stability.
