According to the Israeli military, its forces have discovered the body of a Bedouin Arab hostage that Hamas had taken in Gaza, along with evidence that points to the possible death of another.
On Tuesday, the body of 53-year-old Yousef Zyadna was found in an underground passage in the southern Rafah region.
Additionally, during the October 7, 2023, attack on southern Israel, the IDF reported “findings… which raise serious concerns” regarding the life of his 22-year-old son, Hamza, who was also kidnapped by Hamas fighters.
At a kibbutz farm that day, Hamza was arrested along with two of his siblings, Aisha and Bilal. However, after a week-long ceasefire in November 2023, they were among 105 hostages that were freed.
