Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan emphasized on Saturday the need to tackle the nation’s economic problems and the connection between political and economic stability.
Speaking during the party’s power show in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Swabi, the PTI chairman made the comments. In protest of alleged election-rigging in the general election last year, the former ruling party is holding a “Black Day” today. On the same day last year, the ruling coalition denied the PTI’s claims that their mandate had been stolen during elections.
As the Imran Khan-founded PTI organized protests around the country on the first anniversary of last year’s contentious elections, some PTI leaders and employees were arrested in Multan, Muzaffarabad, and other towns.
