The military’s propaganda wing reported on Sunday that two distinct intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had killed at least seven militants.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a statement stating, “On the night [of] 8-9 February 2025, security forces conducted IBO in the general area of Maddi, Dera Ismail Khan District, on the reported presence of khwarij.”
According to the ISPR, three terrorists were killed and two others were injured as security forces engaged the terrorist’s site during the operation.
In the meantime, another operation was carried out in the North Waziristan District, specifically in the vicinity of Mir Ali. “In the ensuing fire exchange, four khwarij [terrorists] were effectively neutralized by the security forces, while three khwarij got injured,” said the statement.
