SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: According to police on Monday, nine people have been killed in the explosion close to a peace committee office in the Wana neighborhood of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) South Waziristan district.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Imranullah stated in a statement that there are now 21 injured.
The District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Wana was treating 16 injured people at the moment, according to Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr. Jan Muhammad.
Seven people were killed and sixteen injured in the explosion, which happened near the peace committee’s office, according to Deputy Commissioner Nasir Khan.
