LONDON: The Metropolitan Police reported that Ankit Love, a British Kashmiri of Indian descent, has been officially charged with criminal damage after an altercation at the Pakistani High Commission in London.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman stated that Love, 41, who does not have a known address, was charged on Sunday, April 27. “He was remanded in custody to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 28 April,” the spokeswoman said in a statement.
Police were called to Lowndes Square, Kensington and Chelsea, at around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday after receiving complaints of a man allegedly shattering the windows of the Pakistani High Commission. This incident is the subject of the charges.
