In a series of successful operations from April 25 to 27, Pakistani security forces killed 71 terrorists close to the Pakistan-Afghan border, preserving national security and preventing threats, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced Monday.
The security forces carried out a purposeful sanitization operation in the vicinity of Hassan Khel, North Waziristan District (NWD), along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, on the evening of April 27–28, according to the military’s media arm.
The number of terrorist deaths follows the security forces’ successful confrontations in NWD from April 25–27, where 54 Khwarij were condemned to hell. At least 54 terrorists were slain by the security forces when they stopped an attempt to infiltrate Pakistan from Afghanistan.
