ISLAMABAD The largest opposition party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), called on the federal government to hold an All Parties Conference (APC) on Monday in response to recent threats from the Narendra Modi-led Indian government following the Pahalgam incident. This was part of a clear message of unity on national concerns.
“People know the script of Modi’s drama very well,” PTI Senator Barrister Syed Ali Zafar observed during today’s Senate session. According to him, the Indian government was unable to unilaterally halt the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT).
The PTI leader called the Indian accusations against Pakistan in relation to the Pahalgam assault, which claimed 26 lives, “baseless” and claimed that PM Modi was guiding India into ruin.
