In India, the fatal attack in Pahalgam has drawn a lot of criticism and inquiries, particularly in light of the fact that the names of the suspected assailants were made public only hours after the event.

Gujarati Shailesh Bhai Kalathiya was one among the people slain in the attack. The leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, CR Patil, was severely criticized by his widow, who said: “You have plenty of VIP cars, but there were no soldiers or even medical teams at the scene.”

Anuradha Bhasin, a veteran journalist and specialist in Kashmir matters, questioned the official version’s veracity. “One of the world’s most militarized areas is where this tragedy occurred. It is quite concerning,” she stated.
