As river flows increase, Irsa releases all indented water shares.

Accumulative water deficit will now plummet below 20% from April 1 to June 30

ISLAMABAD In order to eradicate water shortages, the Indus River System Authority (Irsa) has started delivering full irrigation supplies to all four provinces due to a notable increase in water flows across all main rivers.

According to The News on Monday, the cumulative water deficit will now fall below 20% between April 1 and June 30 of this year.

The water status and the finalization of the expected water availability criteria for the balance period will be reviewed by the Irsa Advisory Committee (IAC), which is set to convene on Monday (today).
