MURREE: After a leopard was seen on camera leaving the Kuldana forest and entering Mohra Sharif Road, a number of sizable villages around the forest in Murree were overcome with fear and worry. This sparked new worries of conflict between humans and wildlife in the area.

The increasing number of these encounters is attributed by conservationists to habitat fragmentation, poaching, declining numbers of wild prey, and retaliatory killings, which are frequently brought on by leopards preying on cattle.
Although leopards are occasionally murdered for their pelts, most killings are retaliation for lost cattle or infrequent human attacks.
