Omar Ayub, the senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), filed a privilege motion on Tuesday against Tahir Hussain, the secretary general of the National Assembly (NA), and Zafar Sultan Khan, the director general of media, for allegedly “censoring” and halting the transmission of his speech that he gave yesterday in the lower house of parliament.
Despite the speaker’s guarantee that there would be no censorship, the opposition leader said in his motion that the pair had refused to give him a video recording of his address about the Pahalgam event and Modi’s threats to attack Pakistan.
“I had strongly advised that Pakistan should strike first and hard against Indian targets if Modi even attempts to strike Pakistan,” Ayub stated on his official X handle.
