The military’s media wing reports that an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in Balochistan’s Mach area on Tuesday resulted in the deaths of at least seven security officers.
According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press statement, terrorists from the Indian proxy Baloch Liberation Army used IEDs to strike a security personnel vehicle in the Mach neighborhood of Kachhi District.
42-year-old Karachi resident Subedar Umar Farooq, 28-year-old Karak resident Naik Asif Khan, 28-year-old Orakzai resident Naik Mashkoor Ali, 26-year-old Lakki Marwat resident Sepoy Tariq Nawaz, 28-year-old Bagh resident Sepoy Wajid Ahmed Faiz, 22-year-old Karak resident Sepoy Muhammad Asim, and 28-year-old Kohat resident Sepoy Muhammad Kashif Khan “made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced martyrdom,” according to the ISPR.
