Six years after being unearthed, a 1,000-year-old human skeleton that was interred in India sitting cross-legged has been relocated to a museum.
Earlier this month, the news revealed that due to bureaucratic bickering, the skeleton has been kept in an exposed tarpaulin cover near the excavation site in the western Gujarat state since 2019.
The skeleton was moved to a nearby museum on Thursday, only a few kilometers from the site of its discovery.
According to authorities, after administrative procedures are finished, it will be put on public display.
