The story of The Handmaid is over. The finale’s director and star, Elisabeth Moss, has some opinions.
“As an actor at the end, and as a director as well because they’re so intertwined, it was so meta,” she stated in an interview with Gold Derby.
“I hadn’t returned to the Waterford house in however many years it had been since June had been there,” the Mad Men star went on. However, I was able to bring that feeling into the scenario because I understand how it felt.
There were many wonderful memories, but there were also many complex ones, like being quite cold and it being late at night.
