Karachi saw a high of 38.5°C yesterday, but the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned that temperatures would rise to 41°C today, so there won’t be any relief from the heat.
The port city is predicted to experience strong winds today, according to the PMD’s weather report.
The Met Office reported that Karachi is still experiencing extreme heat and humidity, with the feel-like temperature reaching 51°C at around 1pm.
According to the PMD, the city’s humidity level was 42% today.
Sea breezes are predicted to stay largely halted for the next two days, the PMD has said.
