Pakistan would never accept India’s hegemony, according to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, who also stated that water is a “red line” and that no one would be permitted to compromise on the fundamental right of 240 million Pakistanis.
In reaction to the Pahalgam incident in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) last month, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists, India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty and threatened to cut off Pakistan’s water supply.
Field Marshal Munir spoke with attendees of today’s “Hilal Talks” at the Army Auditorium.
