ISLAMABAD As relations with the neighboring country improve, Pakistan will raise its Chargé d’Affaires in Afghanistan to the rank of ambassador, according to a Friday announcement made by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
Dar took to X to say that following his “very productive” visit to Kabul on April 19, relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan were improving.
“I am certain that this action will further enhance engagement, strengthen Pak-Afghan cooperation in the areas of economics, security, CT, and trade, and encourage more exchanges between two fraternal nations,” he said.
