QUETTA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warned that water cannot be used as a weapon against Pakistan and reaffirmed on Saturday that Pakistan would not permit India to unilaterally suspend the Indus Waters Treaty.
Speaking to army personnel at the Command and Staff College in Quetta, the PM claimed that Pakistan has resolutely retaliated against India’s repeated provocations, including its use of the Pahalgam incident as a pretext for attack, on both the diplomatic and military fronts.
By taking down Indian aircraft and focusing on seven valuable enemy assets, the Pakistan Air Force demonstrated its professionalism. He said, “Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar demonstrated his abilities, and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir achieved a historic triumph, solidifying his reputation as a worthy Field Marshal.”
