ISLAMABAD The Afghan foreign minister stated that Kabul also announced promoting its diplomatic post in Islamabad to full ambassadorial rank, a day after Pakistan improved its diplomatic relations with Afghanistan.
“The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs applauds the Government of Pakistan’s decision to elevate its diplomatic mission in Kabul to ambassadorial status,” the ministry posted on X.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan will reciprocate by promoting its mission in Islamabad from chargé d’affaires to ambassador, the statement continued.
