The two-day exercise was focused on defeating asymmetrical and sub-conventional threats in all of the nation’s major ports and harbors, the Pakistan Navy said in a statement issued on Sunday.
The exercise’s objective was to validate and enhance plans, tactics, and procedures to ensure robust protection of critical marine infrastructure from asymmetric attacks.
According to a statement issued today by the PN spokesperson, the coordinated measures involved participation from the Pakistan Marines, PN fleet units, special service group (SSG), and naval aviation.
