Police claimed Monday that a laborer in Rahim Yar Khan, who couldn’t buy Eid outfits for his three children, poisoned them before killing himself in a heartbreaking tragedy.
The police say the event happened in the Rukanpur village’s Sardar Garh Basti Haji Pir region.
According to the authorities, the man, a tractor trolley driver, had been unemployed and in despair for a number of days.
Desperate, they continued, he administered poisoned pills to his daughter and two crippled boys before swallowing them himself.
According to a statement from Sheikh Zayed Hospital, where the girl was receiving treatment, the father and two children passed away, but the daughter is now safe.
