Wazir Khan Zadran, an Afghan seeking refuge, and his family came to Kentucky about four years ago when the US forces left their homeland. He is now concerned about what will happen to his kids, particularly his ladies, if they are compelled to go back to Afghanistan.
According to the Trump administration, Afghans’ Temporary Protected Status will expire in July, and if their asylum application is denied, they risk being deported back to Afghanistan, where the Taliban rule under Islamic law.
Children have a bright future here, where they can study and live fulfilling lives. They’re bad if we return to my nation, especially for the girls,” Zadran remarked.
