A specific gas load shedding schedule for Eid-ul-Adha has been announced by Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), giving Karachi residents some respite during the joyous occasions.
The utility company said in a statement that the gas supply will be cut off on Friday, June 6 at midnight (12am), which is a little later than the customary 9:30pm shutdown hour.
The gas supply will be restored at 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, the first day of Eid-ul-Adha, and will continue to run continuously all day.
In order to guarantee a consistent supply for the second day of Eid, there will also be no gas cutoff on Sunday, June 8.
