Since President Donald Trump’s return, the United States’ reputation has suffered significantly in many parts of the world, with bad ratings for both his policies and character, according to a global survey released on Wednesday.
According to the Pew Research Center, in 15 of the 24 countries polled, the United States’ popularity has declined.
Nearby Mexico, which Trump has frequently denigrated and pushed on immigration, gave him his lowest ratings; 91% of Mexicans said they did not believe Trump would act morally in international affairs.
Perceptions of the United States as a whole declined under Trump.
