DUBAI: Following a dominant performance in their most recent three-match series against the West Indies, Pakistan’s cricket players’ ICC T20I rankings skyrocketed.
With 569 rating points, middle-order batsman Hassan Nawaz rose 24 spots to 30th place after a steady performance in which he scored 79 runs during the series.
Saim Ayub, the series’ top-order batsman with 130 runs, including two half-centuries, leaped 25 spots to take 37th place with 559 points.
With 484 rating points, fellow starter Sahibzada Farhan, who amassed 91 runs in the series, jumped 34 ranks to take 63rd place.
Salman Ali Agha, the captain, and Fakhar Zaman, the seasoned batter, both recorded increases in their ranks, rising 15 and 3 spots to 76th and 78th, respectively.
