After a horrific case that revealed years of compulsion, torture, and grooming, seven men of Asian descent were convicted guilty of sexually abusing two defenseless white schoolgirls in Rochdale.
Police claim that between 2001 and 2006, the defendants exploited the victims’ weaknesses to groom them as “sex slaves” starting at age 13 on a variety of occasions in the Greater Manchester town.
According to Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court, both girls had “deeply troubled home lives” and were provided with cigarettes, drink, drugs, lodging, and companions.
They were then supposed to have sex “whenever and wherever” the defendants and other men desired, which may include dirty apartments, rotten mattresses, cars, parking lots, alleyways, and abandoned warehouses.
