Due to the disruption of important international flight routes caused by the closing of airspace in six countries in response to Iran’s retaliation for Israeli assaults, India’s aviation industry is suffering severe losses.
Aviation sources report that during the strike, many aircraft were canceled and 30 Indian flights were diverted.
Iran’s airspace was shut off to all aircraft after last night’s Israeli strikes, and Iraq quickly followed suit.
Jordan announced a reopening on Saturday after issuing a notice to close its airspace as well on Friday morning. Israel has also shut down its airspace entirely in order to reduce the possibility of reprisals.
