President Asif Ali Zardari asked the federal government on Tuesday to implement effective measures in the federal budget to lessen the financial burden on workers, pensioners, the salaried class, and other disadvantaged groups that are struggling.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met President Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr today, where he emphasized the steps.
According to a statement from the President’s Secretariat, the discussion covered the current political and economic climate in the nation.
The meeting was also attended by Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
